AUTHOR BIO Yolanda McAdam is a certified astrologer and life coach with more than twenty years of experience helping people navigate transformation and live more meaningful lives. Born in South Africa and raised in part by a Portuguese grandmother, a psychic medium, Yolanda grew up straddling two ways of understanding the world. This tension would eventually become the foundation of her work. Her path to astrology and coaching was not direct. She spent years building a career across finance and marketing, work that took her across three continents and gave her a global vantage point long before she turned her attention inward. It was midlife itself, that brought her back to the practices she had set aside: astrology, ritual, and the kind of storytelling that holds both memoir and myth. Yolanda now lives in Vancouver, British Columbia, where she writes, teaches, and works with private clients through her practice. Her essays and astrology teaching appear across Substack, YouTube, and Instagram, where she explores midlife transformation at the intersection of depth astrology, Jungian psychology, mythology, and somatic awareness.
