The Berenstain Bears' Seashore Treasure [With Stickers]

About this book

The Bear family is all set to have a relaxing time at the shore–but that's before Papa Bear finds a treasure map! Tucked away inside a closet at their vacation house on Laughing Gull Island, an old map claims that pirates once buried their booty right on this shore. Mama Bear plans on a quiet afternoon by the sea—only for Papa to announce that Pirates Cove holds hidden riches. Brother Bear expects an ordinary swim in the surf, yet Papa is already marching across the sand with a shovel in hand. High above the sparkling water, laughing gulls sail across the sunny sky as Papa begins to dig. Now Papa Bear, Brother Bear and Sister Bear are diving into the task of finding the booty. Might it be silver, gold, glittering diamonds or rubies? Quest Adventure: Armed with a shovel and boundless enthusiasm, Papa Bear leads the cubs across the sunny beach in search of legendary buried riches. Nature Discovery: Between digs for pirate booty, Papa Bear introduces the cubs to bumpy oyster shells and pink scallops, explaining how sea creatures build their homes. Sibling Dynamics: Sister Bear and her brother splash in the ocean surf together and team up to inspect every curious find Papa uncovers. Family Humor: Papa Bear takes the hunt completely seriously, wondering why the local laughing gulls seem so amused as he moves from one dig site to the next. Also by This Author: The Berenstain Bears and the Trouble with Chores, The Berenstain Bears' Dinosaur Dig and The Berenstain Bears' Bedtime Battle.
